Nuclear Medicine Residency Program

Our department offers an ACGME accredited Nuclear Medicine Residency Program recognized by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. The program offers three accredited positions annually.

Jackson Memorial Hospital is the main teaching hospital for our department which also provides clinical services at the University of Miami Hospitals & Clinics. We are well equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and continuously strive to provide the best teaching experience for our residents. Our graduates are prepared for radiology practice in either academic or private settings. Upon graduation, our residents will be capable of providing medical care of a very high caliber and of conducting high quality research.

How to Apply

There are three pathways for the Nuclear Medicine Residency Program:

  1. One year training program following completion of a four year accredited radiology residency program
  2. Two year training program following completion of any other accredited residency training program
  3. Three year training program for candidates with no previous training in an accredited program (one year of accredited residency training in any clinical program is a pre-requisite)
