MRI Magnet Instrument Rate

  • $ 180 per hour for University of Miami users.
  • $ 240 per hour for non-UM (external) users

This rate will be used for the block of time the MRI instrument is used on the project.  This rate includes the actual scan time, the time for preparation and set-up of the instrument, and an operator to run the instrument.

 

Ex-vivo Magnet Instrument Rate

  • $ 110 for the first hour and $25 per hour after that for University of Miami users.
  • $ 145 for the first hour and $35 per hour after that for non-UM (external) users

This rate will be used for the block of time the MRI instrument is used on ex-vivo projects.  This rate includes the actual scan time, the time for preparation and set-up of the instrument and an operator to run the instument.

   

MRI Physicist Consultation time

  • $105 per hour for University of Miami users.
  • $135 per hour for non-UM (external) users.
 

Image Processing and Analysis Consultation time

  • $100 per hour for University of Miami users.
  • $130 per hour for non-UM (external) users.
 

Additional charges

These charges will be assessed if not provided by the user

  • Animal Handling (anesthesia, non-standard supplies, etc)
  • MRI contrast agent
